Another top notch cd from one of oz´s leading (yet often unrecognised) bands. From screaming feedback, to the uncompromising "soul search" attitude of the bands´ frontwoman adalita; "life was better" offers a combination of killer riffs, melodic madness and the famous Dirt noise. Although not always "radio friendly", Magic Dirt manage to create songs which evoke emotions, but not necessarily the ratings. Can´t hurt to listen to the dirt!!
