I don´t know why, but the first album, Ten Days Before Summer of the English guys wasn´t that I listened to all day and night long, even though it included very unique, worked out, atmospheric and tasteful, groove-filled heavy rock music. Well, the new album goes the same way with more intelligent, harmonic and expressing ten (there´s one more bonus called "Drown to distraction" for - as usual - the Japanese edition) compositions. From the heavy-groovin´ opener "Slowhead" to the sensual, emotion-filled essence of "The Watcher", the CD offers a really talented, exciting and a classic kind of real hard rock energy and feeling, which deservedly can arouse the bigger masses´ interesting, which doesn´t mean a mainstream or commercial attribute at all. They're really worthy for that: pure heavy music, powerfully filled with soul and heart! Does anything else count? www.hangnail.org (PC)
